Bobby Mac`s Bayside Tavern & Grill in Fair Haven

I went there today for my mom's birthday and our waitress was very nice and fast she got all the orders right too and on time. The food was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect day to sit outside by the nice water!!! I definitely recommend this place!!

Awesome service and Live music right by the lake was really cool. The food was all very fresh and the coconut shrimp were huge and delicious!

The seafood was fresh and tasty. More expensive than I expected, the food was delicious. The bread sticks, when we finally got them were warm and delightful. The server was barely competent.

An unbeatable view. Traditional seafood menu. Friendly staff. Nice destination for a lovely drive along the water.

If I could I would give this place half of one star, only because the food is great. The service is absolutely terrible. I was a waitress through my twenties and understand the demands of a server position. The 20 percent gratuity added is a JOKE. It took over 40 minutes just to get a beer and get an order in (that being with numerous polite remindes). I really hate to be THAT person but this was hands down the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant and it is really unfortunate because this place does have great food and so much potential. I hope the manager/ owner takes this feedback seriously because I was incredibly disappointed.

Unbelievable food!! Restaurant is clean & beautiful!!! The view is absolutely wonderful. Winter or summer! The wait staff is MOSTLY great. All in all I keep going back. 😉👍

Atmosphere is amazing best view I’ve seen on lake St Clair in 20 years. Service was great the food was very good. served with that fresh bread. Delicious! Manager checked on us twice 👍🏼

Good food with a great view

Went to bayside on Mar 14, 2020. Ordered one of the specials, blackened salmon. The majority of the inside of the salmon appeared raw. Had the server bring it to the cook. It came right back to the table with the explanation that it’s supposed to be cooked medium rare. Even if that’s true, it was clearly visibly raw. I’ve had salmon for many years and prepared in many ways, and have never been served raw salmon. Other members of my party were offered sweet potato fries as one of the side choices, but were not told there was an upcharge. Lastly, they started vacuuming the floors an hour before closing while there were still many people dining. Not impressed with the overall experience.

Great staff. Lovely views. Usually slightly quieter than other waterside restaurants in the area, when I go. But can be packed. Can't wait for next summer.

I ordered the dinner size of the cherry chicken salad, expecting a healthy mix of greens as the menu advertises. I received a takeout box that contained nearly an entire head of dull green iceberg lettuce, broken up into huge pieces with some toppings sprinkled on top. Nothing else. This place used to offer appetizing salads with an even mix of lettuce varieties. Absolutely not worth the 15 dollars, and disgusting that you would think this is acceptable. Stop trying to cut costs and do better.

Appetizer was cold BUT entrees were DELICIOUS!

Food is always delicious here. Atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The views of the water are great. Parking can be a little tricky during busy times, but we've always managed. If you're looking for tasty food and a casual, fun evening, give this place a try!

Great food and amazing scenery

It was so hot some people just left. We sat and had sweat running down our faces.the manager said that there was nothing she could do. Dont know if I will ever go back. It's a shame because they do have good food, but not worth getting all sweaty and very uncomfortable. They said the fans overhead were broken. Too bad loosing more business then you have already with the covid virus. So long Bobby Macs.

Location that can't be beat! The perch I had was fresh, lightly breaded with a side of rice that was surprisingly very flavourful! The tacos my friend had were good but they were made with Pollack fish(just an odd fish to use, it's quite bland) but with all the fixings on top kinda made up for it! The patio is very lovely altho the music they play on the speakers can be a lil loud. All in all it's going in the Summer Choice locations, definitely will be going back!

Food is tasty, but not large portions. Beautiful view of bay. Sad the weather affected their business this past summer and winter and now during virus.. Offering BOGO take out dinners during quarantine. Good spinach dip.

First things first...I love the view of the water. There is outside eating available and guest bands play on the weekends. Very nice.The food is excellent and my husband and I love the fish dinners. Warm bread is served before the meal and prices are a little bit higher but you get what you pay for. My husband and I have come here numerous times and have never been disappointed. We had a waitress named Rachel and she was very good and attentive. Also very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions.

Outstanding seafood restaurant! My wife doesn't eat seafood so their other selections are great as well. This was our third time visiting within the year. The Tuesday special AYCE Perch dinner was delicious. I'd recommend this place to anyone that loves great food with a nice view. I'm already looking forward to my next visit,, I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Not too impressed. Coconut shrimp was overdone. Hubby says burger was decent. Plastic chairs all in the sun.

Best Lobster Mac around, bar none... and their fresh baked bread is absolutely delicious! The portions are more than adequate to satiate your hunger.. My carry out order was ready in about 10 minutes. The staff if fast and very friendly. Skip the fast food options and treat yourself to a far more fulfilling meal. A+ experience every time!

I love the cedar plank salmon. With a view of Anchor Bay it's just a wonderful place to be and eat food

Took my mom here today to celebrate Mother's Day only to be greeted by one of the worst parking lots I have ever seen in a business. Had to park in a puddle that was over 3 inches deep. The only way anyone should go to this restaurant is by boat as the owner has no respect for their drive in clientele. The food was good but not good enough to make up for soggy feet.

FABULOUS! First visit. Will definitely return. Great atmosphere, compliments of Mother Nature. Backside is all lake St. Clair! Live music as well!! Food is great!! Love Love

The food is great! Try the lobster ravioli or the crab cake!! The outdoor tables could be a little more nice and well care, but the view is very nice!

One of our favorite restaurant on the water. Just wish the docks weren't so rickety so we could come by boat instead of land.

How about good food, good service & a great view of Lake St Clair! It is a casual atmosphere is what to expect at this notable restaurant. We have been here many times and it is not close to where we live. (1 hour away) But for a nice ride & a bonus at the end of your trip is delightful.For a party of eight they have been very well prepared & are ready to make sure your order is right.What more can you ask for?

We managed to get a Groupon for Bobby Mac's and was excited to use it on a nice sunny day so we could sit by the water.The food was very good and so was the service. I had the pulled pork that came with some cornbread and coleslaw and it was good as any of the barbecue places in the area. My husband being the perch fanatic tried the lightly fried perch dinner and really liked it.I have to say the service was as good as the food and so is the view. We will be going back even without a Groupon because the food, service & views were wonderful.

Great food, fast service, and great atmosphere. Right on the lake. Usually a little band playing outside on the weekends. Kids usually eat free on Sundays but that special was removed because of Covid.

Good food if you can get a seat.

Have enjoyed a couple of meals recently. My lunch with a dear friend included much visiting. Our server was courteous, supporting our desire to reminisce and order our food at our own pace. The other meal was at a Christmas party for about 20 people. One server managed the entire group and was excellent...every need was met in a timely fashion. Thanks for superb food and service.

Enjoyed the view of the Bay while eating. Had the Ribs,and Perch with fries all was very delicious even the fries.

We haven't visited here in a while due to service and food lacking in quality. Tonight's visit was superb! Service was top notch and the food was excellent!! Food was fresh and definitely high quality. We will put this on the frequent flyer list!

I was disappointed with this restaurant. This was our first time here. We went on Mother's Day. Our waitress could've been better and the food definitely could've been better.
